My first name is Mildred, but I have always gone by my middle name of Susan; I'm often called 'Sue'. I always hated the first few days of school during roll call in each class, because I had to keep repeating, "Susan, please" when 'Mildred Chapman' was called.
I've taught elementary school for 30 years, had 2 children, and have been married 38 years. I have one grand daughter, 4 years old.
