  Ray C Fisher III, 65, of Charlottesville, Va., has "gone fishing". Lovingly known as "Mike" was born on October 19, 1951, in San Diego, Calif. to the late Ray C. Fisher Jr. and Catherine "Kitty" Carmichael Fisher of Charlottesville, Va.He was survived by his siblings, brother, David and his wife, Sandy of Ocala, Fla.; sister, Bes and her husband, Richard Stewart of Richmond; sister, Catherine Smithson and her partner, Harry Warren of Crozet; and his youngest brother, Chris and Elizabeth Fisher of Charleston, S.C. Mike's nieces and nephews are Chad, Katie, Kurt, Corbett, Tyler, Codie, Carley, Walker, Sophie, and Alex. Mike owned Fisher Plastering in northern and central Va. Mike was an avid skier and was a 27 year member to the Wintergreen Ski Patrol. From his college days of ski racing at Lees -McRaeand Appalachian State to ski training Avalance/ Tobaggan instructor, Senior and Cerified programs instructor for the National Ski Patrol. Mike had patrolled in the Aspen Highlands, Mt Cook, New Zealand, Massenutten Resort, and fondly at Wintergreen Resort. He will be dearly missed by family and friends, and his devoted dogs, Max and Pete who loved snipe hunts, four-wheeling, hanging out at the firepit and fishing.
